The Booksellers in Residence initiative is now open for applications
The Booksellers in Residence is a chance for booksellers from Melbourne, and across Victoria, to spend a week in a selected iconic bookshop from one of our sibling Cities of Literature!
This is a chance to get in the day to day working of an international bookshop – to observe, to participate and to exchange ideas.
The bookshops are
- Lighthouse Bookshop in Edinburgh
- The Book Hive in Norwich
- The Bookcase in Nottingham
- Third Place Books in Seattle
The selected recipients will receive a return flight and $2000 AU towards travel expenses
The timeline for your trip will be worked out between you and the bookshop and can happen anytime between June 2019 and December 2020
Who can apply?
Please note this funding is available to individuals who are Victorian residents working in a bookshop anywhere in Victoria!
