Together with the Wheeler Centre, we’re pleased to host Man Booker Prize-winning author Richard Flanagan for a fascinating discussion about his first novel since The Narrow Road to the Deep North.
First Person is the story of broke ghostwriter Kif Kehlmann who becomes obsessed (or possibly possessed) by his subject – an infamous conman, and corporate criminal. This work of fiction is inspired by events from Flanagan’s own life, and this event is a unique opportunity to hear one of Australia’s leading literary talents talk about the meaning, and the problem, of truth.
Entry without a book is $25 per person ($15 concession) plus a 30c booking fee. Entry with a signed copy of First Person is $55 per person ($45 concession) plus a 30c booking fee. Please book here.
This event will be Auslan interpreted.
