Celebrating life in story, song and poem’: At this session, held in Yandoit, locals are invited to share stories about life, via spoken word, song and poetry. As an open mic event, people will have 5 to 10 minutes to tell their story, in their chosen format.
The sharing of stories strengthens our connection as neighbours and our knowledge of one another. It also builds bridges between established residents and new comers. People may choose to share stories, song and poems that are personal or community based; and may share their own creations, or the creations of others that inspire.
