Melbourne Writers Festival presents Zoe Morrison

Frankston City Libraries

Event Date: 2 September 2017
Author / Presenters: Zoe Morrison with Lee Kofman

The Melbourne Writers Festival comes to Frankston once again with author Zoë Morrison.

Zoë started her first novel in Oxford when she was supposed to be writing academic papers as a Rhodes Scholar. ‘Music and Freedom’ was commended in the Victorian Premier’s Award for an Unpublished Manuscript and is published by Penguin Random House. This novel's love story is that of a woman who must embrace life again if she is to survive. Inspiring and compelling, it explores the dark terrain of violence and the transformative powers of music and love. Music and Freedom was the winner of the 2016 Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction.

This is a FREE event but bookings are essential.
