Write Around the Murray
WAM Slam, Write Around the Murray's annual poetry slam, returns. Hosted by Hip-Hop artist and slam poet, Mantra, with a unique comic-strip performance by comic artist Mandy Ord, this is one cool poetry slam where everything wordy rocks – as long as it’s under two minutes. Impress our audience-member judges with your original poetry, spoken word or story and you’ll head to Sydney for the NSW Australian Poetry Slam finals. Our friends over the border in Victoria are welcome too – you’ll head to the VIC finals if you win.
All poetry and performance styles welcome. Register on the night to get up and give it a shot!
