Celebrate the launch of Next Chapter recipient Hasib Hourani’s debut poetry collection rock flight Hasib Hourani's debut poetry collection, rock flight, is a powerful allegory of occupation and subjugation that refuses to lose hope. It highlights the disruptive effects of displacement, dispossession and surveillance for generations of Palestinian people. Join Hourani and host Evelyn Araluen to celebrate the release of rock flight, which has been described by Maxine Beneba Clarke as passionate, necessary, ‘a poetry-triumphant’. We suggest arriving at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. Tickets include a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage on arrival. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the night.
