Radio Laria Poetry

This August, Radio Laria is featuring a fantastic poet: Amanda Anastasi. Amanda Anastasi is wonderful poet, passionate climate activist and convenes the highly popular La Mama Poetica. She is also one of the organisers of the upcoming Sonic Poetry Festival; and why not get yourself warmed up for the festival by coming along to hear just how amazingly good she is? Our venue Open Studio (204 High St, 3070) is a Northcote institution for culturally amazing gigs. We are also looking forward to the open mic where poets, storytellers and writers of all kinds are encouraged to share their work. All genders are welcome to read, sign up on the night, 10 slots available and a 5 minute limit. The audience is very supportive and we welcome new readers. Come along and join this warm, vibrant poetry community and don't forget about Open Studio's yummy crepes! Gemma White was originally meant to be performing at this gig, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she is no longer able to feature. We wish Gemma all the best and look forward to her featuring another Radio Laria night.
