DESCRIPTION:How can we develop conscious methods of translating experience into resonant storytelling? How might we examine everyday perceptions to generate and renew our approach to making language\, image and narrative? \nThis online writing course is structured over 20 weeks (5 months) and centred on methods of durational journalling. By slowing down the writing process\, we will model\, practice and evaluate approaches to finding motif\, symbol and metaphor; seeking voice and perspective; and moving between nonfiction and fiction modes.
