Book Launch: The Food Saver's A-Z
Books for Cooks
We're celebrating the launch of Alex & Jaimee's new and exciting book about eating seasonally, reducing food waste and eating well at home.
We first met Alex & Jaimee when we launched their first book Cornersmith. It was a wonderful event with Alex demonstrating pickling and preserving in the bookshop. Fast forward a few years, and Alex and Jaimee are now releasing their fourth book; still championing zero food waste, eating seasonally, preserving, pickling, fermenting and eating well - all from their Cornersmith Cookery School where they teach traditional kitchen skills for modern cooks, highlighting the importance of seasonal eating and reducing food waste.
Their mission is to empower home cooks to make less wasteful, more delicious meals every day.
So, if you, like us often have a fridge full of leftovers or small quantities, then this is the book for you. The Food Saver's A-Z is a timeless resource packed with ideas and advice for reducing food waste and making great meals with what you already have , whether that's half a jar of tomato paste, a handful of green beans that have seen better days or a whole cauliflower that looked beautiful at the shops but now looks sad and guilty.
The Food Saver's A-Z is full of food waste hacks , storage tips , swaps and shortcuts for more than 150 common vegetables, fruits and kitchen staples, as well as hundreds of recipes from the popular Cornersmith Cooking School. In other words, the ultimate modern reference guide to storing, using up and making the most of each ingredient in your fridge, pantry or fruit bowl.
Interested in reducing your eco footprint, reducing food waste, saving money and eating well?
Then please join us on Tuesday 18th October for a wonderful educational empowering and intimate discussion with Alex and Jaimee with tastes from the book and matching drinks.
Tickets are limited.
