Eda Gunaydin in conversation with Maria Tumarkin

Brunswick Bound

Event Date: 22 June 2022
Author / Presenters: Eda Gunaydin, Maria Tumarkin

There is a Turkish saying that one’s home is not where one is born, but where one grows full – doğduğun yer değil, doyduğun yer. Join us for an evening at Brunswick Artists' Bar with essayist and researcher Eda Gunaydin as she discusses her debut book Root & Branch: Essays on inheritance, a beautifully written work that unsettles neat descriptions of inheritance, belonging and place. Eda will be joined in conversation by writer and cultural historian Maria Tumarkin.

It’s free to attend this event, but please RSVP to [email protected]
