Brunswick Bound is partnering with The Counihan Gallery in Brunswick and Future Feminists to celebrate International Women's Day with a storytime and craft activity with Kate Bullen-Casanova, author of Hair.
Kate Bullen-Casanova lives in Inner-North Melbourne with her two young children. After 7 years in women’s activism, including time at UN Women and the International Women’s Development Agency, Kate now brings her passion for gender equality and social justice to the world of early childhood education. She runs a monthly playgroup and empowers families and educators to work together through her online community Future Feminists.
Kate’s first book, Hair, was published in December 2019 following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
