Join us at 6pm on Wednesday 16 August to hear award-winning author Lucy Treloar chat about her novel, Salt Creek.
Lucy Treloar was born in Malaysia and educated in England, Sweden and Melbourne. A graduate of the University of Melbourne and RMIT, Lucy is a writer, editor, and occasional teacher of creative writing. Her debut novel, Salt Creek, was the winner of the Matt Richell Prize, the Indie Award for Best Debut, and the Dobbie Award, and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award and the UK’s Walter Scott Prize. Lucy’s short stories and non-fiction have appeared in Meanjin, Overland, Sleepers and Best Australian Short Stories among others. Salt Creek is being published in the USA and England in 2017.
The Paperback's Salon Series brings together our community of writers and readers in a program of informal readings and discussions, right here in the intimate setting of the bookshop. Join us every second Wednesday at 6pm, no bookings required, glass of wine on the house.
