Opening Pages at Fairfieldbooks

Heather Dyer

Event Date: 3 April 2019
Author / Presenters: Ilke Tampke & Stuart Kells

History is in the air at this Opening Pages. Ilke Tampke has written a novel, Songwoman, set in Britain during the Iron Age. Her main character is Ailia, who has left her home to escape the recent Roman invasion. She has to face war and the broken ties to her homeland.
Stuart Kells writes about the unsolved mystery of Shakespeare's Library. Much has been written about Shakespeare over the years, and this is another take on the man, what inspired him and of course, his books.

Enjoy a glass of wine as we cross the centuries with Ilke and Stuart

Opening Pages is at Fairfieldbooks, 117a Station St Fairfield and starts at 7pm
