Join us to meet two authors and enjoy a glass of wine while we listen to Judith Brett and Jenny Ackland talk about their books. They are very different this month, with Judith's book, From Secret Ballot to Democracy Sausage, being about elections and voting and Jenny's, Little Gods, being a novel. You might think a book about voting and elections would be dull, but it is anything but dull! Judith talks about the history of voting and how Australia is one of the few countries in the world to have compulsory voting.
Jenny's book explores families and secrets and loss. Set in rural Australia, 12 year old Olive is learning about the world and how things are not black and white.
