Opening Pages at Fairfieldbooks

Heather Dyer

Event Date: 1 May 2019
Author / Presenters: Enza Gandolfo & Loretta Smith

Join us at Opening Pages to meet and hear two authors. Enza Gandolfo 's novel The Bridge is a fictionalised story of the fall of the Westgate Bridge and the effect it had at the time and on the survivors and families in the following years.
Loretta Smith's book is called A Spanner in the Works and is one of those stories about an amazing woman that most of us have never heard of. Alice Anderson set up an all female garage in Cotham Rd Kew after the first World War. It was a very successful business but sadly, Alice died tragically young.
Enjoy a glass of wine while listening to what will be a fascinating discussion.

Opening Pages is at Fairfieldbooks, 117a Station St Fairfield and the event starts at 7pm.
There are plenty of food options in the shopping strip for your after event repast.
