Mira Robertson wrote The Unexpected Education of Emily Dean, a historical novel about 14 year old Emily who is sent to live with her grandmother in the country. It is a coming of age novel but much more.
CLAIRE Varley's book, The Book of Ordinary People is set in Melbourne's north with many recognisable locations and is about 5 very different people trying to make the best of their lives.
Claire and Mira will be in conversation with Heather from Fairfieldbooks. We are at 117a Station St Fairfield, and the event will start at 7pm.
