Join us for our first salon of the year: an evening of poetry readings from three exciting local authors: LK Holt, Roslyn Orlando and Grace Yee. LK Holt has published six full-length collections of poems. Her book Birth Plan was shortlisted for the 2020 Prime Minister’s Award for Poetry and the 2020 Victorian Premier’s Award for Poetry. She is the recipient of the NSW Premier’s Award for Poetry and the Grace Leven Prize for an Australian poetry collection, and has been longlisted for the Australian Literature Society’s Gold Medal. Her poems have been published widely in journals and anthologies in Australia, UK and USA. She lives in Narrm/Melbourne. Roslyn Orlando is an artist, writer and gardener based in Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country. Her writing and artistic works explore relationships between language, history and technology. She studied Journalism at the University of Sydney, and Arts Politics at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. Grace Yee is the author of Chinese Fish (Giramondo Publishing), shortlisted for the Victorian Premier's Literary Award for Poetry in 2024.
