On Monday 5th February we are hosting Andrew Caillard MW together with his publisher Angus Hughson to discuss the imminent release of their new extraordinary book "The Australian Ark: the story of Australian wine" The Australian Ark is an extraordinary piece of scholarship and statement of Australia's wine history. Three volumes and over 1500 pages lavishly illustrated contain the most extensive history of Australian wine ever written: Volume 1: 1788–1900 The Colonial Era Volume 2: 1901-1983 Federation to the Modern Era Volume 3: 1983–present day Contemporary Times – Recollections and Perspectives This is a majestic work that deserves a place in any serious wine cellar or wine book collection and will be a fundamental reference on Australian wine history for future generations.
