A road trip in verse, and a chronicle of early performance poetry, The Tour is the latest book from the renowned Melbourne-based poet, π.O. (Pi.O.), published by Giramondo in August 2023. It is his first work since being shortlisted for the Melbourne Prize for Literature in 2021, and since the publication of his epic poem HEIDE, which was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Poetry and won the Judith Wright Calanthe Award. Join him on Tuesday 26 September at Brunswick Bound to celebrate the book’s launch. Attendees are invited to arrive at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. Copies of The Tour will be sold on the night through Brunswick Bound, and drinks will be provided. This event is free, but you are strongly encouraged to RSVP
