What is home? Do we travel towards it, or do we navigate the world from it? Is it a place, a character, an idea? If it's the setting of your story or a recurring theme in your mind, these questions are relevant. In this workshop, you’ll explore ‘home’ through language, memory, perspective and place. There’ll be plenty of discussion, writing exercises and supportive critical feedback. Whether you’re deep into a work-in-progress, or just starting out, fiction or non-fiction, this day is for you. You Will Learn: to focus your ideas and shape your material to discover compelling stories and settings to hone your language and your creative writing craft to develop your unique writing voice to analyze and use different writing techniques
