Bruno Leti Studio Visit, ARt on the Page
University of Melbourne Special Collections
Join us for a visit to the studio of Melbourne print artist Bruno Leti as part of a public program of events for the Art on the Page exhibition at the University of Melbourne’s Noel Shaw Gallery. Art on the Page showcases the astonishing, little-known book illustration work of a number of the world’s finest artists including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Antoni Tàpies, Marc Chagall, David Hockney and Joan Miró. Their original woodcuts, lithographs, etchings, tableaux and engravings—of the type normally found on the gallery wall—accompany the work of revered writers including Vladimir Mayakovsky, James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, Emily Brontë and Guillaume Apollinaire.
Meet in the Art on the Page exhibition space in the Noel Shaw Gallery at 1:00pm, Level 1 of the Baillieu Library, University of Melbourne Parkville before a short walk to Bruno Leti's studio.
