Join Sarah Howell and David Blumenstein for a family friendly comics workshop in celebration of Squishbook! This new comics anthology by 13 Australian artists and writers is a very silly, but truthful, guide to how and why children should make their own comics and stories. In this workshop we will take kids through some of the activities from the book. Suitable for ages 7 and up. We'll be workshopping in All Star's All Ages section -- we ask that parents stay close by in the main part of the shop. Tickets are $30 and each child gets their own copy of Squishbook! If you would like a ticket and not receive the book (i.e., just get a free ticket for the workshop only), you're very welcome to do that too -- just use the promo code workshoponly at checkout. Spaces are very limited so we ask that you please let us know/cancel your ticket if you find you can't make it! And please look after All Star and their patrons by not attending if you or your children are showing symptoms of illness. We can refund you, or leave your copy of Squishbook with All Star for pickup later.
