Established Author Forum 2023: Book In For the Year
Writers Victoria
Part creative development, part networking, part writing group, this forum features in-depth lectures at a high level from prominent writers on the topics they know best, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about their work and your own. After each lecture, writers share wins, frustrations, opportunities and industry developments within a social setting. The Established Author Forum meets four times a year, and includes a per-session cost or a discounted yearly fee. All sessions take place at The Wheeler Centre, unless otherwise noted.

- Thursday 1 June 2023, 6:30pm: Amie Kaufman on Cultivating a Creative Life, considering ways to build habits and maintain a career trajectory both joyful and sustainable.
- Thursday 21 September 2023, 6:30pm: Jeanine Leane on Writing Identity and Difference, examining power dynamics and ethics in creating characters with different backgrounds to your own.

These masterclasses are for established writers only: that is, writers who have had at least one book or short story collection published by a mainstream publisher or a significant publication history in literary journals or similar publications.
