Mobile MESS arrives at Family Fiesta! Experience the magic of electronic sound creation in this fun hands-on workshop with Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS). During one hour we will investigate the science of sound through interactive experiments using synthesisers. You’ll get to create wild sounds and make your own beats while you learn the basics of synthesis.

This workshop introduces some of the basic physical properties of sound, how to make sounds and create an electronic soundscape together.
Open to children between 8-12 years old. Beginners are very welcome and no prior experience with synthesisers is required. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay.
