Online Feedback Clinic: Fantasy

Over five months, best-selling author Kylie Chan will read and provide feedback on extracts from your fantasy manuscript. She will provide you with comments and suggestions to improve your story, and inside information on traditional and self-publication of fantasy in the current professional publishing landscape.

Starts 31 January. Pieces of up to 1500 words due 31 January, 28 February, 28 March, 25 April, 30 May.

Our Online Feedback Clinics are asynchronous, with no face-to-face meetings, allowing you to engage with the content at the times of day and week that suit your schedule. They are hosted on our private Wordpress server. There will be an optional Zoom introduction to the clinic website for those less confident with technology, which will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. About the Tutor:

Kylie Chan has a BBus, an MBA in IT and an MPhil in Creative Writing. She started out as an IT consultant specialising in business intelligence systems in Australia, and then had her own consulting business for ten years in Hong Kong. When she returned to Australia in 2002, Kylie studied martial arts and Buddhist and Taoist philosophy, and wrote the bestselling nine-book Dark Heavens series, a fantasy based on Chinese mythology. She has recently released the Dragon Empire science fiction series.
