Faber Writing Academy

Event Date: 22 April 2017
Author / Presenters: Sophie Cunningham

What are the different types of plot? Do novels have to have them? How do you find the right structure for your novel? Author Sophie Cunningham will help you navigate your way through these essential parts of writing a novel. There will also be a discussion of character and dialogue and the way they work together and towards particular plot lines and particular structures.

Sophie Cunningham is the author of two novels, Geography (2004) and Bird (2008), and two non-fiction works, Melbourne (UNSW Press, 2011) and Warning: The Story of Cyclone Tracy (2014).
