We are excited to announce that the next CBCA Vic State Conference will be held on 19th May 2018 at Deakin University - Geelong - Waterfront Campus.

The conference program is designed to delight educators and librarians with the power and pleasure of literature for students from pre-school to year nine. Particular attention will be given to alignment to the literature stream of the national curriculum for English.

Dr Louise Paatsch, School of Education, Deakin University
Shivaun Plozza, Mark Smith & Scot Gardner delivering workshops on 'novel ways with literature for the middle years'.
An afternoon of practical workshops will include the opportunity to engage with creators about illustrative tips and techniques, discuss and learn about digital modes of storytelling, and discover 'novel ways' of interacting with middle and early secondary students.
