Audio recording – and thus podcasting – is more approachable to many than it’s ever been. Yet the craft of making something that sounds good, holds interest and resonates with listeners is a skill like any other. What different approaches to audio storytelling might suit writers? What might you offer a listener? And how should you approach learning or collaboration? In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of starting a podcast: what to consider, what you’ll need, and what’s possible. We’ll cultivate your inner editor, set reasonable expectations and increase your familiarity with a uniquely social, open-ended medium.
