Dance like you’re a Bridgerton, craft like your wardrobe depends on it! And let’s chat about Austen and fan fiction. Our annual Austen Con is back but a little smaller this year - a select gathering, and you are invited! Running for four hours from 1.00pm, the event’s centrepiece will be a discussion panel on Austen fanfic featuring experts and fans like Kelly Gardiner and Jodi McAlister. Listen and ask about why we do this, what trends ebb and flow in Austen fanfic and adaptations, and how fan fiction introduces Austen to new readers and ways of thinking.
