Daniel Browning (he/him) is an Aboriginal journalist, radio broadcaster, documentary maker, sound artist and writer. Currently, he is Editor Indigenous Radio with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and produces and presents Awaye!, the Indigenous culture program on Radio National, the ABC’s specialist arts and journalism network. Awaye! surveys contemporary Indigenous cultural practice across the arts spectrum. A visual arts graduate, Daniel is also a widely-published freelance arts writer. He is a former guest editor of Artlink Indigenous, an occasional series of the quarterly Australian contemporary arts journal. He is the inaugural curator of Blak Box, a specially-designed sound pavilion commissioned by Urban Theatre Projects. Daniel is a descendant of the Bundjalung and Kullilli peoples of far northern New South Wales and south-western Queensland.

Tony Birch (he/him) is a founding member of the Melbourne School of Discontent. He has published three novels; The White Girl, Ghost River and Blood. He is also the author of Shadowboxing and three short story collections, Father’s Day, The Promise and Common People. In 2017 he was awarded the Patrick White Literary Award for his contribution to Australian literature. In 2021 he released two new books, a poetry book, Whisper Songs and a new short story collection, Dark As Last Night. tony-birch.com

Tony Briggs is a Yorta Yorta, Wurundjeri actor, writer, director and producer. His twice Helpman Award winning play The Sapphires, the story of his mother and aunt, evolved into the internationally acclaimed award winning film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2012, won two AWGIE awards, and 11 of 12 categories at AACTA 2013. He is also the co-originator, executive producer and writer of the eight part TV series The Warriors (2016). Other writing credits include My Place S2 E13 (2010) and The Sapphires animation series (2015). As an actor of over 20 years he holds many credits to his name including feature roles in The Slap (2010), Broken Shore (2013), Cleverman (2015), Seven Types of Ambiguity (2017) and Rake (2018).

Nayuka Gorrie is a Gunai/Kurnai, Gunditjmara, Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta writer. Nayuka’s work explores Black, queer and feminist politics as well as Black, queer, and Blerd (Blak+nerd) culture. Nayuka’s television writing includes Get Krack!n, co-writing and performing in Black Comedy, and the five-part children’s series Thalu.
