Don't leave us hanging
Why do crime readers attach themselves so devotedly to a series? Is the 'series' planned from the outset or driven by the readers? Setting up these worlds is an epic task that the reader comes to know as though they'd walked the very spaces themselves. When do you know to stop that world from continuing?
