Melbourne Rare Book Week
Here Lives Our Culture welcomes you to the Rare East Asian Collection. Inspired by the Analects of Confucius, this exhibition invites you to learn, share and connect at the library. Reflecting the experience of a traditional Chinese library, it is curated according to the four-category classification developed in ancient China. Using this system as a starting point it examines the historical, literary and cultural links shared by rare materials ranging from the 17th to the 21st century held in the University’s Archives and Special Collections.
