Words in Winter
Two authors discuss writing historical fiction. Kelly Gardiner reads from her most recent YA novel; Ilka Tampke reads from her new book and talks about early Celtic history and the importance of our connection to place.
Ilka Tampke lives in Woodend, Victoria. Her latest novel, Songwoman, can be read as a stand-alone or as the sequel to Ilka’s first novel, Skin. International rights to Skin have been sold in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, the US, the UK and Vietnam.
