The Odyssey Literary Festival is back and it's genre-ating buzz!
We're gathering Melbourne's most illustrious storytellers and book nerds for a soiree to celebrate the writing craft and community.

Time: Doors open 2:30pm. Keynote 3pm.
Location: Kaleide Theatre, RMIT Building 8, Level 2, 360 Swanston Street, Melbourne

The 2018 program includes:
- Game of Tropes—a lively debate pitting the literary highbrow against the conventions of genre
- Sisters Are Killing It for Themselves—an ensemble of Australia's deadliest female crime writers
- It's a Hardback Life—get inside the minds of three graphic designers to find out if genre affects book design
- Write Dirty to Me—write the worst erotic scene for your chance to win prizes and hear your work performed live on stage. Check out our website for submission details!
Created by students from RMIT's Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing, Odyssey has become a firm fixture in Melbourne's event calendar. Past performers include Tony Birch, Jennifer Down, Carly Findlay, Mark Brandi, Fiona Wood, Rajith Savanadasa and Angela Meyer.
