Stories that feed us
Glen Eira Library service
Food and memories go hand in hand. A taste or smell can invoke a memory of home, of family both here and gone, or a tradition kept over generations. Food can also transport us to places we haven’t been before, symbolising new beginnings and stories that have yet to be told. Join panellists Nornie Bero (Mabu Mabu chef and owner), Jerry Mai (Executive chef at Pho Nom), Theo Loizou (2022 Masterchef alumni), as we explore the powerful intersection between food and memory, and how food holds up a mirror to the rich tapestry of the human experience. These are the stories that feed us. Hosted by broadcaster, food writer, author, and passionate foodie, Alice Zalvasky. Suitable for ages 13 and up. Free event and bookings essential. This event will be Auslan interpreted.
