Join Dr Vicki Couzens as she shares her extensive work understanding restorative justice and restitution through language and cultural reclamation and revitalisation – in conversation with Daniel James. Dr Vicki Couzens is Keerray Wooroong Gunditjmara from the Western Districts of Victoria. She is a Senior Knowledge Custodian for Possum Skin Cloak Story and Language Reclamation and Revival in her Keerray Woorroong Mother Tongue. Vicki is a Research Fellow at RMIT, undertaking an ARC funding award developing her Project 'Mother Tongue: Language revitalisation through immersive practice'. Daniel is a Yorta Yorta Melbourne-based writer and broadcaster, raised on Taungurong country in North East Victoria. He is co-host of the 7am podcast and hosts The Mission on RRR, examining issues affecting Aboriginal people. Tickets are free for First Peoples. Email [email protected]Subscribe to events
