The winner of the 2024 Stella Prize will be announced on Thursday 2 May at State Library Victoria. Declan Fry is a board member of Australian Book Review. His poetry has been shortlisted for the Judith Wright Poetry Prize and selected for The Best Australian Science Writing 2021. He is a recipient of the 2023 Hilary McPhee Award, the 2021 Peter Blazey Fellowship, a winner of the 2021 Griffith Review Emerging Voices Competition, and in 2022 was nominated for the Pascall Prize in criticism. His latest work is a poetry collaboration with Craig Santos Perez in Woven. His writing appears in Another Australia, The Cambridge Companion to the Australian Novel, Griffith Review 79: Counterfeit Culture, and elsewhere.
