Join writer and critic Declan Fry and the winner of the 2024 Stella Prize at lunchtime for an insightful conversation on Australian literature, the Stella Prize and the winning book. The winner of the 2024 Stella Prize will be announced on Thursday 2 May at State Library Victoria. Declan Fry is a board member of Australian Book Review. His poetry has been shortlisted for the Judith Wright Poetry Prize and selected for The Best Australian Science Writing 2021. He is a recipient of the 2023 Hilary McPhee Award, the 2021 Peter Blazey Fellowship, a winner of the 2021 Griffith Review Emerging Voices Competition, and in 2022 was nominated for the Pascall Prize in criticism. His latest work is a poetry collaboration with Craig Santos Perez in Woven. His writing appears in Another Australia, The Cambridge Companion to the Australian Novel, Griffith Review 79: Counterfeit Culture, and elsewhere.
