PEN Melbourne invites you to remember and celebrate imperiled and imprisoned women writers. Join us in writing messages of support to imprisoned women writers with guest speaker, Dr Maria Tumarkin.

This evening will be the first Judith Rodriguez Memorial IWD presentation, and we see this becoming an annual talk by a woman - writer, poet, thinker - that acknowledges the work of Judith Rodriguez. Seen through the prism of the presenter's field of work, this event will celebrates aspects of the writing life such as Judith represented.

Light refreshments provided.

All genders welcome.

The Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre is wheelchair accessible.
