Asphyxia discusses Future Girl

Whitehorse Manningham Libraries

Event Date: 17 January 2022
Author / Presenters: Asphyxia

Asphyxia’s latest work explores what it means to come of age as a Deaf teenager, against the backdrop of a near-future Melbourne on the brink of environmental catastrophe. Join us to enjoy Asphyxia’s discussion of her visual extravaganza of text, paint, collage and drawings, woven into a deeply engaging coming-of-age story followed by a Q&A supported by Auslan interpreter.

A Zoom invite will be emailed to registered participants at least one hour prior to the session. If you have not received the link at least one hour before the scheduled start please phone any branch during opening hours.
