Alec Patric was awarded the prestigious 2016 Miles Franklin Literary Award for his astonishing debut novel, Black Rock White City.
A novel about the damages of war, the limits of choice, and the hope of love, Black Rock White City is intensely human, yet majestic in its moral vision. It is an essential story of the migrant experience in Australia.
