Finding Ada and friends, with Kaz Cooke

Uncover the story of Ada Delroy, vaudeville comedian and dancer of the Victorian era, and the subject of Kaz Cooke’s latest novel, Ada.
Kaz is joined by actress, dancer and cabaret performer Meow Meow to discuss conjuring and creating characters through research into cabaret and vaudevillian history.
There will be an exclusive showing of some of the collection items used by Kaz in her research after the discussion.
About Kaz Cooke
Kaz was a 2013 Library Creative Fellow and is a cartoonist and bestselling author; her publisher calls her the Number One Advisor for Australian girls and women. Kaz makes her living writing, drawing and talking.
