In Praise of Veg: talking plant-based meals with Alice Zaslavsky

Yarra Libraries

Event Date: 21 April 2021
Author / Presenters: Alice Zaslavsky

Taking climate action through the food we eat. What we eat can have a large impact on our carbon footprint.

Join Alice Zaslavsky (aka Alice in Frames) in conversation about her new book 'In Praise of Veg'. This is a book full to the brim with recipes which pay tribute to the wonderful world of vegetables and plant-based cooking.

Alice will talk about the joy of cooking and eating veggies, share some plant-based cooking tips and tricks, reveal some of her favourite plant-based restaurants and cafes, and importantly, talk about why eating more plants is one way we can take action on the climate emergency.

Please note that this is an 'in person' event but a zoom link will be provided on registration in case the event needs to move online.
