'Undefeated' is a collection of 118 stories from 90 migrant women, who against all odds, overcame the challenges and barriers of living in a foreign land. This book is a celebration of their journey, their power, and their contribution to a multicultural Australia.
Christine and Pilar are Co-authors of Undefeated and want to share their migration journeys to inspire others. Christine Pow is a Knox Resident. She is Malaysian-Chinese and moved to Melbourne in 1988. Pilar Oyarzun is a Maroondah Resident. She is Chilean and moved to Melbourne in 2015.
Copies of 'Undefeated' will be available for purchase (cash or card accepted) at the event.
