Nicole Lee has played a major role in shaping how Victoria responds, and works to prevent, family violence.
After suffering a decade of abuse at the hands of her former husband, Nicole draws on her lived-experience of family violence to speak out for those who don’t yet have a voice. Her ongoing efforts, working within the prevention of family violence space, have included being an important part of Victoria’s first Victim Survivors’ Advisory Council, as well as being a passionate advocate for women with disabilities.
Join Nicole in conversation with writer/interviewer Claire Halliday during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence as we call out violence against women and explore what needs to be done to eliminate violence in the lives of women and children throughout Victoria and Australia.
