The Art of Starting: a Workshop with Madeleine Dore

Yarra Plenty Regional Library

Event Date: 14 March 2020
Author / Presenters: Madeleine Dore

Self-doubt, procrastination, not enough time, needing to do the laundry – there are plenty of excuses for sidelining creative projects. Side Project Sessions offer an antidote to the blocks that get in our way, designed to help creatives do the task they’ve been putting off, whether that’s writing a novel or tending to bonsai, offering distraction-free time and a pleasant environment to quietly chip away at your project with like-minded creatives by your side.

Madeleine Dore is a freelance writer, interviewer and content strategist based in Melbourne. Curious about how creativity is reflected in our daily lives, Madeleine founded the online interview project Extraordinary Routines. Madeleine is a regular event host and live interviewer and founded event series Side Project Sessions to help people create time and space to work on whatever they're putting off.
