J P. Quaine opened a secondhand and antiquarian bookshop in Prahran during the First World War, and continued in business for the next four decades. He was noted as a collector and seller of "bloods". In addition he was active as a journalist and contributor of articles on collecting to newspapers and magazines. In this talk, Wallace Kirsop will explore Quaine's career.
