To celebrate Father’s Day come along to Frankston Library to hear author Claire Halliday talk about Things My Father Taught Me.
Claire Halliday’s writing career started doing features for The Sunday Age and, since then, has had more than 1000 articles published in lots of magazines and newspapers. A writer for 20 years, Claire loves storytelling. Things My Father Taught Me is just one of Claire’s five published non-fiction works.
No matter how we describe our own father, he leaves an indelible imprint. Claire Halliday spoke with a range of well-known Australians who shared their stories about the way their dads shape their lives. From memories of deep warmth and closeness to stories of difficulty and tragedy – everyone’s story is unique.
