The presentation will focus on Zero’s Whisper, Tom Petsinis’ new book of poetry that draws inspiration from the world of mathematics. Tom has explored this area in novels (The French Mathematician), plays (Hypatia’s Circle) and a previous collection of poetry Naming the Number. He will talk about mathematics and its contribution to literature as a source of metaphor, imagery and interesting characters.
