Waterways and Journeys: Connecting Contemporary Aboriginal Storytelling to the Past

Yarra Plenty Regional Library

Event Date: 7 September 2019
Author / Presenters: Kathrine Clarke

Join Wotjobaluk woman, writer, artist and curator Kathrine Clarke and a panel of Aboriginal storytellers and writers from diverse backgrounds for this very special event as they discuss and share the different ways stories tell us who we are, where we’ve come from and why we tell them. Each writer and storyteller will share a reading and detail the ways they acknowledge and interpret the shape of their work based on personal experience, culture, and family history.
