Bruno Lettieri brings together two of Australia's most admired writers, Helen Garner and Michael Leunig, for a powerful conversation about living creatively and soulfully into your eighth decade.
Helen Garner’s first book, ‘Monkey Grip’, appeared in 1977. She is well-known for her novels, short stories, essays, and influential works of non-fiction. The first volume of her diaries, ‘Yellow Notebook’, will be published in November this year.
Michael Leunig is a cartoonist, writer, painter, philosopher and poet. His commentary on political, cultural and emotional life spans more than fifty years and has often explored the idea of an innocent and sacred personal world. His work appears regularly in the Age and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Bruno Lettieri is a teacher and literary lover, known for his conversations with some of Australia's most treasured writers in his series, 'Bruno Goes Everywhere'.
This event will be Auslan interpreted.
